Kim Allamand



Kim Allamand was born in Lucerne, Switzerland. He holds a Bachelor and a Master’s degree in Film Directing from Zurich University of the Arts. His first feature film FIRST DAYS had its world premiere at the 2026 Rotterdam Film Festival. His fiction short film HEART FRUIT  premiered in Locarno, had its international premiere in San Sebastian both in 2022, and was part of the Future Frames program at Karlovy Vary in 2023. Heart Fruit won, among others, the German Film Critics’ Award at Filmfest Dresden, had a tv premiere on arte.tv before picked up by Nowness. His fiction short film TERMINAL premiered at Locarno in 2019, where it won the Best Swiss Newcomer Award and the Youth Jury Award. It went on to screen at numerous festivals and premiered online on ShortoftheWeek. He works as a writer, director and teacher in Zurich.
